Outstanding Exam Grades from Harrow Bangkok Students
- Surpassing
all Expectations in Summer 2016

Harrow Bangkok’s students delivered the strongest set of results in the history of the school last summer, leaving the Harrow community absolutely delighted. More than half of all A levels and two thirds of all IGCSEs sat by our pupils resulted in A* or A grades; an exceptional acomplishment (for comparison to UK independent schools see - http://www.isc.co.uk/research/exam-results/) and an appropriate outcome for our hard working and talented students, supported by the outstanding Harrow team of staff.

At A level, there have been some truly remarkable individual achievements – David Hyland, our ex-head boy, and Minnie Sukmanus secured straight A* results in all of their subjects.  David will read Mechatronics and Pure Mathematics at the University of Sydney and Minnie will read Economics at UCL (London). We are also delighted that our ex-Deputy Head Girl, Numtip Techalapanarasme, secured her place to read Economics at Clare College, Cambridge.

IGCSE grades were just as impressive, where two thirds of our students achieved five A*-A grade and, pleasingly, students made outstanding progress right across the cohort, regardless of their ability.

Some of the best individual IGCSE results included England Nuntnarumit (So12) who was awarded 12 A* grades in her subjects, closely followed by Poon Peetathawatchai (S012) with 11 A* grades. It’s truly exceptional to gain a grade A* or A in over 10 subjects, so we are very proud of the 28 Harrow Bangkok students who managed to do so.
