If you visit our Lower School, you will witness a fusion of excellence and enjoyment. Outstanding teaching gives children the life chances they deserve, in alignment with our Mission Statement, Leadership for a better world. We understand the need to focus on the Essential Core Skills (English, Mathematics and Digital Literacy) and believe children learn best when they are excited and engaged. We aim to instil a lifelong love of learning.

The Lower School is divided into two areas; the Early Years Centre and the Pre Prep.

The Early Years Centre (EYC)

The importance of Early Years Education cannot be underestimated and at Harrow Bangkok we have a truly outstanding Early Years Department. Children from 18 months to 5 years old have a dedicated building appropriately tucked away in a quiet corner of the campus. We are blessed with a fantastic environment for our youngest Harrovians to explore and a world-class curriculum focussed on their individual learning needs.

We use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum as a base but adapt this to our international setting. We have an excellent team; being an early childhood educator is a unique profession that is as much a life calling as a career.

Particular success has been experienced with students who begin their educational journey in our EYC as it provides such a strong and positive start. Our youngest lions are our pride and joy!

The Pre Prep

The Pre Prep is divided into the Infant School and Junior School. We aim to make the transition from the EYC to the Pre Prep a smooth and seamless one. We have a committed, dynamic, talented teaching team and a curriculum is unique to Harrow Bangkok, blending best practice from around the world.

The children leave the Pre Prep in a magnificent position to achieve their full potential in our Upper School.
