“We could have been anything that we wanted to be….”
This year we are trying something new!
After the success of the productions in both prep and secondary school we have decided to really challenge ourselves and the students and in March we will be performing the famous children’s musical “Bugsy Malone”. Students from years 6 through to 13 are currently rehearsing on Mondays and Thursdays, learning lines, songs and dance moves ready for the Production. The Jazz band will be accompanying the drama and I am really excited to see the end result. This is proving to be our biggest production yet with a cast of over 60. The performance itself is set in the prohibition era in American and is full of gangsters, their molls, custard pies and the famous “splurge guns”.
The production will take place the week beginning March 22nd 2010 where students, family and friends will have the opportunity to watch the show on a variety of different days and times.
