House Captains
At the first Prep School assembly we announced the 12 House Captains for the Prep School for the 2009/10 school year. There was a boy and girl House Captain for each of the 6 Houses. The children were selected by the staff. These Year 7 children were chosen on their leadership potential as well as their attitudes and values they had shown in Year 6 when many of them had been Deputy House Captains. It was not an easy task for the staff involved as there were many fine candidates in each House and sadly there will always those who were unlucky and others who would be disappointed. However children are very adaptable and often handle these disappointments better than adults.
The Prep School House Captains 2009/10 are:
Byron : Tim Tiasevanakul Patty Taleongpong
Churchill : Mard Patana-Anake Ta Siriprabrydhi
Keller : Dhee Harnamornset Minnie Sukmanus
Nehru : Sam Hambly Anna Glaze
Sonnakul : David Alexander France Onsaard
Suriyothai : Alex Waddell Yannin Nonthaleerak

Our Golfing Superstar

During the summer holidays Pearl (one of our new Prep pupils in Year 6) travelled to Los Angeles to participate in the World Junior Golf Masters. She won the 9 and 10 age group section a fantastic sporting achievement. Pearl has been a special golfing talent here in Bangkok for some time and we will be following her future progress with great anticipation. She is pictured below with Mr Riley.
