The inaugural Junior Sports Day got off to a fantastic start on the final day of last term. It was the first time we had all the Junior School competing in a FOBISSEA style event. A fantastic turn out by the parents and glorious weather, what else could we ask for on such a great day of sport. As the sun shone down and the music filled the air, our little athletes from Years 3 to 5 competed fearlessly for the ‘Junior House Champions Trophy.’With the kind help of the Prep School prefects and the FOBISSEA students the day ran extremely smoothly. Well-motivated House captains made sure all the children had events and lots of fun and great effort was seen all around. Notable excellence was seen by Karla in Year 3 gaining the fastest time of the day throughout the Junior School for her 200m sprint. Also excellent runs from Anushree, Mint, Bam Bam, Maple, and for the boys Nop, Gem, Nicholas and North.

In a close fought contest Keller narrowly overcame the fierce competition from Churchill to be crowned ‘House Champions 2010.’ Well done Keller!!
Special thanks to all the staff who braved the heat to make such a special day possible. Also many thanks to Mr. Riley and Mr. Rowlands who bought the entire Junior school an ice pop and saved our Harrow mums a near chaotic scene at the ice pop stand. Last thanks go to the PE department for their persistent pursuit of excellence. Well done all.
