The children in the Infant and Junior Schools are in Houses. There are 6 houses and they are named after Winston Churchill (Blue), Pandit Nehru (Red), Lord Byron (Green), Helen Keller (Yellow), Queen Suriyothai (Purple) and Chatumongol Sonakul (Orange). Allocating each child to a house enables an element of competition to be introduced to children at a young age. Children compete against their peers in a range of competitions throughout the year including Sports Days and Swimming Galas. Children develop important values through this system such as sportsmanship and resilience. The House system also enables the children to spend time and identify with older or younger children from the same house. Every Thursday is house day and children proudly come to school wearing their house shirts.
