HARROWSTUDENTSUPPORT SERVICES

Following a comprehensive restructuring during the previous school year,the Harrow Student Support Services Department was created. It comprises of five areas, they are: Learning Support, Language Support, Bright Sparks, Speech Therapy and Physical Movement. Our goal is to provide better coordinated support for students who may be experiencing difficulties in accessing the curriculum or would benefit from an enriched curriculum. The department endeavours to work with students both inside and outside the classroom, through a planned and co-ordinated intervention programme based on each individual’s child’s needs. The department is based in the Primary Building but has specialist, well-resourced classrooms throughout the school.
