The main annual recruitment phase for Teaching staff normally begins in November/January, allowing selections to be made and contracts to be signed ahead of the new academic year in August. The Head Master along with other school leaders and personnel, travels to the UK for face to face interviews during this period.
Candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited for interview. For Teachers, face-to-face interview rounds are conducted both in the UK and Bangkok and where appropriate virtual interviews will be conducted.
For staff who apply locally, interviews are conducted at the school campus.
All candidates will be required to supply the following documents at interview stage:
- Degree / Certificate(s) of Education
- Identity Documents; Passport or National ID
Successful candidates will be requested to present the following documents after accepting the Offer of Employment:
- Employment References* (these are requested after interview and before offer for teachers and teaching support staff)
- Criminal record disclosures for all main places of residence
- Health disclosure completed
- Professional Photo
- Marriage Certificate (if relevant)
All successful candidates are required to comply with our Safeguarding and Data Protection by signing agreement on the school’s Safeguarding and Staff Codes of Conduct and other relevant policies.
For all Harrow schools, the safeguarding of our students is at the core of all that we do. Before we can consider an appointment we must be in receipt of acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from all other countries in which the applicant has worked and appropriate references from current and previous employer, corroborated by personal phone calls made to each referee.
