Harrow Bangkok are delighted to celebrate world-class outcomes for its A Level Class of 2020, the graduating Year 13s, despite a uniquely challenging year. Oxford and the Ivy League Universities Cornell and UPenn are among the world’s most competitive universities that Harrow Bangkok students will be joining this year. Elsewhere in the UK, students have secured offers ranging from highly revered London colleges such as Imperial, LSE and UCL all the way up to St Andrew’s in Scotland.

Head Master Jon Standen praised the results of the hard work of the students and their teachers:

‘Congratulations Class of 2020! Your hard work and determination has led to truly aspirational examination results and opened doors to world-class universities. I wish you every success in your future and look forward to seeing you again at alumni events in years to come.’

The realisation of academic potential is at the core of Harrow Bangkok’s mission and these results surpassed expectations, highlighting our focus on stretching and supporting all who learn there. An exceptional 68% of examinations were graded A*/A, 21 students achieved A* in three or more subjects and nearly half of our Year 13 students achieved straight A*/A grades across all their subjects. Of 278 exams entered, over 40% were graded A*. This success reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence and consolidates its long-held reputation for outstanding educational outcomes. This is especially pleasing for a school committed to an unashamedly holistic approach to education that values and nurtures leadership, compassion and collaboration equally with exam success.

Congratulations Class of 2020 on Excellent Results
