Harrow International School Bangkok is committed to the safety and protection of children. All staff and visitors are expected to comply with our school child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures.
All our staff and partners have a strong commitment to child protection and safeguarding. Our staff undergo comprehensive training and are fully vetted. In October 2019 all our staff had their training updated by the child safeguarding expert, Robin Watts. Our most senior staff are Level 3 safeguarding trained, whilst all our middle managers are Level 2 safeguarding trained. The school’s child protection arrangements are regularly audited by Tim Gerrish OBE from International Child Protection Advisors (ICPA). Khun Kittipol Pramoj Na Ayudhya is the Governor assigned with special responsibility for safeguarding, and himself received refresher training in October 2019.
Our Child Protection Policy is renewed annually in June and can be accessed below.
Our designated Child Protection Officers are Kate Umpleby (Early Years), Mike Godwin (Lower School) and Alex Prout (Upper School).
The school’s designated Lead Child Protection Officer is Dr Tim Jefferis, Second Master.
Please contact the Child Protection Officer in your child’s school section or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any concerns.
