Sonakulians strive collaboratively towards achieving success, understanding that it is not just about the winning, it is about the taking part.
My name is Daniel Bolt and I am Head of Sonakul House
Sonakul is known as the House with great spirit. The 'mighty oranges' take pride in all that they do in both academic and extracurricular activities. The House has strong ties to its chosen charity and students recognise the importance of supporting the wider community.
We are a House that recognises each student as an individual and whatever their talent or ability, there is always an opportunity to take part in a wide range of House events and charity work. Sonakulians support and encourage each other both on and off the field as well as embracing leadership roles within the House. Sonakul has a strong student lead leadership team which is the driving force behind the House’s strong identity.
The tutor team play a strong role within the House. Tutors are an integral part of school life, offering pastoral support as well as supporting their tutees both academically and at House events.
Sonakulians aim to respect themselves, each other and the world around them. The House provides a safe environment so that students can become well-rounded individuals, support one another and offer a sense of family to each other within the House and as a result, Sonakul has developed very strong ties with its alumni.
